Regional Clinical Director of Risk
Management
SMA is
recruiting for a clinical Regional Director of Risk Management. Five to
seven years in risk management and three to five years in managing a
staff are requested. Ideal candidate will handle all areas of risk:
claims, legal interface, risk control, risk education, insurance/risk
finance, etc. Desired background is in nursing (not legal); master’s
preferred with a CPHRM. Recent experience in a hospital setting managing
a staff is also required. This is an excellent health-system,
financially sound with a collaborative management style where you will
be a part of the executive team. Four facilities located in two states
while the corporate facility is in a large city environment.

Qualifying and screening:

Liaison:
SMA acts as a liaison between client companies and candidates,
scheduling meetings and interviews, and preparing candidates for
those meetings.
SMA assists the client in determining market equity and negotiating
minimal acceptable compensation. SMA presents the offers, including
employment agreement, sign-on bonus, and relocation package,
incentive plan and benefits.
